Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-31
This policy covers the browser extensions (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) Invoice Downloader for Amazon, Highlights Exporter for Kindle and Board Exporter for Trello — each called "the extension" below — and this website.
What the extension stores
Everything below stays in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage).
| Data | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Daily usage counter (a date and a number) | This device | Enforce the free daily limit |
| License key | Your browser profile (synced if you use browser sync) | Keep Pro on your other devices |
Activation ID and random device name (chrome-…) | This device | Identify this activation with the license server |
| Last license check result (status, time, plan, expiry date) | This device | Keep Pro working offline for up to 7 days |
| Feature settings (export format) | Your browser profile | Remember your preferences |
Page content
The extension reads the page of the supported site you are on (your Amazon orders, your Kindle Notebook, a Trello board) only when you click its button. What it reads is shown in the popup and saved only to files you choose to export or download. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
To load the same data the page shows, the extension may request the site's own pages and endpoints with your existing session: Amazon (the next pages of your orders and each order's invoices), Kindle (your notebook's highlight pages), Trello (the board's JSON). It never sees your passwords.
Problem reports
If you click "Report a problem", the extension saves a file to your computer with the structure of the page (HTML tags and class names). Text, numbers, names, IDs and form values are removed. Nothing is sent automatically — you decide whether to email that file to us.
License checks
Only when you activate, check (once a day) or unlink a license, the extension sends the license key, the activation ID and the random device name to our license server (a Cloudflare Worker operated by us). The server asks Paddle whether the purchase behind the key is paid and not refunded, and stores, per license, the list of activated devices (activation ID, device name, date) to enforce the 3-device limit. We do not log IP addresses; Cloudflare processes network data to deliver the request under its privacy policy. In Firefox, the extension asks for your permission before sending the license key.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, on its secure checkout. Paddle collects your name, email, country and payment details and processes them under its privacy policy. We receive from Paddle the order details (product, price, date, email and country) to provide your license and support. We never see your card number.
This website
No analytics, cookies of our own or tracking. The checkout page loads Paddle's script to open the payment form.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking, ads or third-party scripts in the extension.
- We do not collect browsing history or page content, and we do not sell or share data.
- No remote code: everything the extension runs ships inside the extension package.
Keeping and removing your data
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. To free a device slot first, open the extension's Settings and click Unlink this device, which also deletes that activation from our server. Order records are kept by Paddle as required for tax law. To ask us to delete the activation records for your license, email us.
